SYRIGID ,di-electric Composite Strength Member (CSM) widely known as FRP rod is designed to provide excellent Tensile strength performance while maintaining high degree of stiffness, preventing cable buckling over it 's entire service life.It is most suited for loose tube, uni-tube, slotted core or ribbon cable, typically used as central or peripheral reinforcement in fiber optic cables.


Description

SYRIGID is manufactured using E-glass fiber with high heat resistant, proprietary resin system. It is available in various coatings including, EAA, Tuff, Mega Bond and HDPE, which allows easy handling. Tuff coating provides very smooth surface, whereas Mega Bond is suitable where high adhesion to up-jacketing material is desirable.


SYRIGID  is available from 0.25 mm to 6.0 mm diameter in increment of 0.1 mm with very close dimensional tolerances. However, requests for any special diameter or packaging are most welcome. It can also be supplied with up-jacketing configuration. Long continuous lengths over 50 Kms with sequential printing on the FRP rod improves yield &productivity on the factory floor.It has an added advantage of high heat resistant property with high torsional strength.
